Accountabilities
As aGovernment Affairs Manager, you will be responsible for managing government affairs activities to support the company's objectives. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Setting up stakeholder mapping aligned with the country's main objectives and various Therapeutic Areas (TAs), followed by an operational plan for external interactions.
- Interacting and collaborating with external agencies for lobbying and with internal corporate stakeholders.
- Providing ad hoc support to multiple Government Affairs initiatives as required.
- Detecting, studying, and escalating new developments and legislative changes, relying on your expertise in the field, and communicating findings and their implications to colleagues within the Government Affairs function and affected brand teams.
- Following new developments in Italy and at the European level, ensuring findings are incorporated into government affairs strategies.
- Preparing required documents, collecting evidence, and crafting testimonials needed for presenting regulatory filings.
- Following up, disseminating, and leveraging internally the most important institutional global, regional, or national projects.
- Supporting the GA function in understanding the European environment and opportunities.

Essential Skills/Experience
- Deep Knowledge of the Pharma sector policy at EU and national level
- At least 2 years experience in a Government Affairs/Policy environment
- Demonstrated good proficiency in English (spoken and written)
Desirable Skills/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in government studies or related field
- Professional experience within Parliament and/or Government
